    I just turned it on again, and now it is working. Go figure.

  3. I did not update my Z9X pro to HT5.
    I ripped Pink Floyd in Pompeii and I see that it cannot be identified and it seems like I have no access to any of the databases.
    It doesn’t play the concert but it plays all other movies in the hard drive (they were all matched before).
    Was this expected? Do I have to upgrade to HT5?

    Many thanks.
    It updated the first time with no issues. Matched the concert using the database and I enjoyed watching it. :)
    Updating a Zidoo player is like entering a mine field. I try not to update my Zidoo as much as I can and I don't really need to.

    @Markswift2003 Do you know whether there are plans to include this fix in a formal firmware update for the Z9X and Z9X Pro?

    So not long after loading the new HT app I started getting this garbled text in places. Anyone seen this and/or know how to fix it?

    Lol, that's not garbled text, it's Vietnamese :D

    Check your language setting.

    Language setting is English and I even tried changing it to something else and back again. And it's not like that everywhere as shown in the pics.

    Edit:
    It's good now. I originally tried the language setting in HT5 because that's what I was using at the time and had just updated it recently. So after reading your post I went into the global settings and sure enough it was on Vietnamese.
    Thanks for steering me in the right direction.

    В Zidoo z9x pro, невозможно установить постеры фильмов. Обновлял прошивки везде, менял 8888 на 9999, ничего не помогло. Прошивка последняя: бета-версия v1.0.95, poster_RTD1619B_v4.3.52. Кто нибудь в курсе, как установить постеры? Написал в поддержку, но их советы не помогли.

    Hi all,
    I uploaded the apk and used the apk installer and it says successfully installed but when I see in abot in the home theatre app it shows 4.3.32 dosent update the app. I have a Z9X Pro attached is firmware version

    Simple. You do not own Z9X Pro = 1619BPD

    Could you please, in the next Home Theatre update, add Brazil as a supported region? We in Brazil don’t have the catalog, posters, and everything else in our language. Also, please consider adding more subtitle provider options. Thank you.

    Hi. Sorry first post. I got my zidoo a few months ago and everything was fine. I've just updated my films and no covers etc seem to be found after moving the directory. My zidoo is the Z9X 8K , as my model isn't listed. Will this update fix this issue on my box? Thought I'd better check incase it all goes wrong. Don't want to try this is it's for a different box.

    You need to be in this forum:

    Here's a few WebUI problems when you go to Poster.

    Select Unmatched
    Go to movie, click the hamburger menu, select Rematch

    Problem 1: Let's say the movie is https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/46541-game-of-death. Search results bring back 4 'Game of Death' titles, no preview, no link, no details. No way to know what one to select (this is a REALLLLLLLY old problem).

    Assume we find a match, select it from search results, then submit.

    Problem 2: After a match you're taken back to the All view. You need to select Unmatched again and pick the next title. Why doesn't it stay on the Unmatched screen so you can work through them one by one?
