My X9S pauses randomly while playing a bluray or DVD. I cannot get it to play unless I turn the unit off and on. It completely freezes. I have the latest update. I don't have any 4K movies. All my files are .mkv Has anybody experienced this issue before?
It's many years since I used an X9S but I didn't have any problems as you describe. Copy one of your movies to a USB stick and try playing it from there. Before suspecting a hardware fault in the X9S I'd check the delivery system is the problem (network, external drive, whichever you use).
