Zidoo controler, not manage to communicate with player.

Error code - 6.

It is annoying. As my small windows computer I use with external dac on Jriver gets old, wanted to give it a try to play music on the Zidoo. As in past the app did see the player, it now does not any more . it sees it as past connections. So as I have a projector, I not want to put it on every time.

Is there a way around this, and have no problems to connect to the player? I have same problem on my Android phone and Tablet.

The IP-address most likely changed after the Router/AP was restarted (new DHCP).

 

I managed by restarting the devices many times. But although I have the latest firmware of the Zidoo player, It really not works well, cannot see all the albums, navigation is impossible, lot of covers do not show. Guess I have to continue with my old computer and JRiver...;

 

Try giving your devices fixed or reserved IP addresses in your router. I was advised to do that and haven't had changing DHCP since.
