    Hi all,

ZDMC lag with all "big" video. Only < 1 GB play correctly.

I want play H264 10bit, but lag with 2 GB for 20 minutes.

I test all video player (pot, nova, vlc ecc...) but it's impossible open any video (h264/h265 or others). i turn on access to folder but nothing work.

I test all type video (various format) in ZDMC but all > 2/3 GB lag.

How to correct or how to play h264 10bit? (avi it's rare, but h264 10bit it's very widespread, i bought the player for convenience and not to convert videos).

    EDIT: sometimes Smarttube lag too.

    thanks

Assuming you are using the Zidoo external player in ZDMC, 10bit H.264 is not supported by the SOC as it's a non-standard stream.

Smarttube lags sometimes as it's auto refresh rate function does not work on the Zidoo hardware, as it's a closed API.

You say you can't play H.265 files? I've never seen an issue - what is your configuration.

These box's are great at what they do, providing the file is in legal specs.

H265 lag only with ZDMC. I didn't set anything. I tried turning off hardware decoding, but nothing changed.
How to set Smarttube for stop lag or what is a similar app?

In ZDMC setting set use external player to on (that way it uses the zidoo hardware player).

I personally set smarttube to ouput 1080p.

I have already activated external player, it's must for use ZDMC player. The videos start but lag. Don't start with other various player.

Smarttube with 1080p don't change the lag. Can i disable auto refresh rate function?

As I asked above, "what is your configuration."? sorry, without knowing the settings on the zidoo and you display/amp etc etc, I can't help any further until you provide that info.

I set with this guide: http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?thr...er-useful-stuff-for-rtd-1619dr-players.82695/
But i tested different settings and ZDMC always has problems.
Stock player (Home Theather 4) work perfectly. ZDMC is only valid player for h264 10bit and avi but only very small videos works without lag.

" ZDMC is only valid player for h264 10bit and avi"

Sorry, I'm out. Maybe @Markswift2003 has more patience than I.

You're right, the SOC doesn't support h.264 10-bit. End of.

Stock player don't read avi and h264 10 bit. ZDMC read this but lag (with softare decoding too) and lag with all type of "big" videos (only < 1GB work).
I test all app (vlc, pot, nova ecc) but nothing read videos (there apps don't see videos (any format) , i active permission to access folder but not working).

Sorry but I'm not good at english.

This device is designed to play standard local files with a hardware player for the SOC (chipset) and is not designed to be used with other software players.

It is not designed to be used with other video player apps.

    10-bit h.265 is not supported.

ZDMC is a deprecated product and not officially supported for many years. It was superseded by HT (HT4) years ago.

Ok, it's impossible play correctly. I can only convert on PC. Right?

10bit h265 play good with HT, the problema Is 10bit h264 and avi both not compatible (but avi Is very small and with ZDMC not lag).

I have installed ZDMC 20.02 (recent update).
