firmware 1.4.4 zdmc 17.1 I have a smb NAS setup with username/password. zdmc 17.1 internal player works fine with local usb / NAS 1080p files but not 4k contents. so I enable zdmc with external player, play fine with local usb files but do not play any NAS content. I open file manager, I can play both local usb and NAS content with system video player. Maybe there is a problem with ZDMC passthrough the username/password parameter pairs to system player. Another issue: Today I get my zidoo x9s with firmware 1.3.0. Can not online upgrade. It says I already have a newest firmware. I can only manually download 1.4.4 to a usb driver to upgrade locally.
not all firmware are pushed to OTA, and those that are pushed, are not right away, it can take another week or so till 1.4.4 is pushed, or it may be skipped and get the next one pushed,
I am with HaoSs and would do a quick fix update for 1.4.4 for sure before doing any OTA. It is not a bad update at all but there slipped in a few very nasty bugs not present before (USB3, Power on/off, NAS access rights etc). Ironing these out again should have top priority now in my simple view.
