Z9X Powered vs None Powered HDD

    Will a powered Hard Drive help the Z9X boot faster than a non powered one. I'm not quite ready to tackle a NAS yet

    Attaching a HDD does not influence boot time as such. It will take about 10 seconds extra for each HDD to become ready/usable after boot.
    Neither matters if it is USB or SATA attached.
