Hi , Zidoo support, may I know how to build Zidoo X9S as a NAS , any APK file and the procedure to do it , thx in advance!
The NAS and more networking features now moved to OpenWrt. OpenWrt is a second OS next to the Android OS with its own Interface. This is very powerful but also a kind of hidden and not really intuïtieve for most. Already asked for an APP to enforce basic NAS settings for OpenWrt under Android. Looking around you will find guides for SAMBA and FTP. Will need to go through those myself and do some benchmarking tests next. In fact I am waiting for a few glitches to be ironed out first. Using a competing platform right now as a big NAS server, this is working good.
