Now Zidoo 2600 is connected to the TV directly, only audio goes to the receiver via HDMI, since the receiver does not support 4K. Recently I bought a new receiver that supports 8K. Does it make sense to leave everything as is or connect video and audio through the receiver. What would be better?
Thank you Mark! In terms of switching, yes, I understand. But what would be better in terms of picture quality and output sound? The Zidoo manual doesn't say anything about this, except that there are separate HDMI video and audio outputs. But there's no way to use it. I'd like to have maximum video and audio quality! So I wanted to ask, is it better to use two HDMI cables or one when connecting? Will there be a gain in this?
Thanks again! In your opinion, is it worth turning on upscaling on the receiver to 8K or does Zidoo do it better?
