Z10 Pro Connection from W10

    I just purchased the Z10 Pro and it seems like a decent product. I have ordered a hard drive but don't have it yet. I've been trying to connect to the device from Windows 10 and just having no luck. I enable SMB1 on my PC and yes I'm doing the \\IP just says "Windows cannot access \\IP", I can ping it, I can see Z10 Pro.

    Should I be able to connect to the box without the HDD in it? If so, what's the trick?

    Have you enabled the SMB server (Settings/Network/Samba Server)?

    LOL....that was the trick. Should have figured that out but was working and doing other things with it at the time....Thank you!!
