Optical = Television USB-C = PC A6 = favorite radio station radioparadise (or Tidal) If I switch from A6 (radioparadise) to Optical, the sound changes. Perfect If I switch from USB-C to Optical, the sound changes. Perfect If I switch from Optical to USB-C, still ok But But if I choose the A6 again when coming from USB-C or Coax or Optical, I have nothing left. I have to go to the menus. So manipulation again. It's not practical or ergonomic. In summary, if I listen in streaming and I go to another active input, I have the sound of the source. If I go from any active source to the A6, I have nothing left. No sound. I have to go into the menus. By default, you should automatically return to what you were listening to in streaming. It's possible ? Best regards from France (Bordeaux)
Hello Nice Monkey Try listening to 4 sources at the same time (A6 - Coax - Optic - USBc) and switching from one to the other. Back on the A6 in streaming, it's silence. Tell me the result. You misunderstood me. Sorry about that should have said it better. I meant it must be possible to implement it that way. Currently it does not work that way.
I'm the specialist in misunderstanding (David from Audiophonics can attest to that!) If I understand "better", when you come back to the radio you were listening to... do you hear it ? I rephrase differently. Step 1: you listen to the radio (or Tidal) with the A6 and everything is fine. Step 2: you change the input to listen to the source in Optic (this is an example). You hear your new source. Step 3: you want to listen again to the radio (or Tidal) you were listening to in step 1 Step 4: you choose source A6 Step 5: you, do you hear the music of the previous stream which is still in progress? Me, I don't hear anything. The silence. This disconnected listening to the radio or Tidal (which I want -by default- to keep working. All the time). I have to restart the radio (or Tidal). I don't want any additional step. When all the sources are active, I want to be able to switch from one to the other in a single action : choose its input. Just that. No need 3 actions : (1) choose input A6, (2) go to the streaming menu, (3) search for radioparadise (or Tidal). Only the (1) must be enough to listen to the streaming on which we were !
Hooo you're right, I didn't see the "bug" topic. It must be said that I am French and that I use Google trad in addition to meager memories of English! How to move to the right place, I don't know how to do it ? I asked the question (about streaming discontinuous streaming) those who had an A6 on the ASR site (AudioScienceReview). Same conclusion. It would be a shame to add an external source just to have a permanent streaming (whether we listen to it or not)
I think only moderators can move stuff. I doubt it matters since this entire forum is small. I'd just like your bug to get noticed as much as possible by the Eversolo team so it might be fixed. You could always copy and paste it over there.
