I'm about to remove the temporary 2TB internal hdd with a 10TB unit. I note in File Manager it treats my internal drive as USB ? and I have the option to format it as well as unmount. So does this mean I can now format my new 10TB drive in the Zidoo or do I still have to do it externally? I'm thinking the ability to format in the Zidoo is restricted to a memory stick but then it offers me the option to do so on a WD 2TB hdd? So could a wise Zidoo guru clarify? I guess whatever I need to unmount my internal drive, turn the power off and remove. There are 2 folders existing on this drive Storage and the other containing movies/tv
Never tried/trusted using any Android tools for formatting my HDD's. Frankly I prefer Windows to do the job as I move my HDD''s around a lot using many players and Windows. Doing it the proven method it never fails: SATA attached in W10 PC with GPT+NTFS using a single partition. You may try it and let us know. Also can always redo it the right way next.
