Hi. I have UHD 2000. I have a question, how many TB hdd is maximum for each bay? 14TB? 16TB? also between Seagate ironwolf and WD red, which one is better for UHD 2000. thank you.
There is no actual limit. So any size will work. Pick the one with less power consumed (=> less heat => less fan noise) and lowest drive noise. Performance is not relevant. WD HDD's typical make more noise due to vibration. Seagate Ironwolf and WD Red are both good drives but made for NAS which is not needed here. I personally pick the one with lowest €/TB for obvious reasons (mostly External USB drives to be stripped for Internal use). Last purchase WD100EZAZ (stripped from 10 TByte WD Elements My Book).
