True android tv

How can I install the real android tv os?

I don't like this is since it does not do any thing related to tv in any way.

The current os is just android os for phone and tablet scaled up to big screen and that is causing the worst tv experiance ever. It's as simple as Netflix work totally difrent from my other android tv and the quality is horrible.

Hope you can guide me on how to install the actual Android TV OS

If that's your plan. You got the wrong box. There is no android TV os for this box. Probably never will. Do more research before buying something... ( http://androidpcreview.com/netflix-hd-android-tv-box/3784/ ) . i suggest you return it and buy a nvidia shield.

Buy a other RTD1295 ---> http://www.xtreamer.net/express/ with the same SoC ! <---- or maybe wait !

If you know them, you avoid them..... very bad support

Apparently Google is now allowing OEM's to implement Android TV?

 

I would not be surprise they discontinued there own nexus player....

If ZIDOO X95 dont upgrade to real Android TV will be same than another mediabox with android. No valid for any VOD app

 

if x9s is to change the OS ( i'm 99% sure it will not), F android TV. It should go for pure linux ( minimum openelec )

 

pure Linux is the same problem... NO VOD apps supported!!!

 

That will have no apps support like android have

android is best for these boxes....it makes these boses all in one, media center and most inportantly gaming console like experience all in 1
