I have a trouble audio output from ZIDOO X10 to reciever Integra (Onkyo) DTR-50.4 in RAW format.
    My setup:
    1. TV LG 65UH950V (4K HDR)
    2. Reciever Integra DTR-50.4 (2013 year, don't support 4k HDR, therefore ZIDOO it's connected to the TV directly).
    3. ZIDOO X10
    4. PC with movie database it send out to ZIDOO via SMB, also on PC PLEX server can send out to TV directly via plex client on TV
Trouble - some movie don't play audio directly via reciever in RAW format (if on ZIDOO set AUTO - on the reciever play PCM format, if set RAW - on the reciever silent (NO SOUND).
I'm try set on ZIDOO "Downmix HD audio output" option - all work, audio decoding by reciever.
I'm try play via Plex client (transcodding option is off) on TV and native player of TV LG - all good work, reciever corretly decoding Dolby and DTS.
For example trouble movie in MKV - The wolf of the walkstreet:
    audio1: DTS-HD MA, 7.1 / 48 kHz / 16-bit / 2006 kbps (DTS Core: 5.1 / 48 kHz / 16-bit /1509 kbps) (Dub Rus)
    audio 2: DTS-HD MA, 5.1 / 48 kHz / 24-bit / 3321 kbps (DTS Core: 5.1 / 48 kHz / 24-bit /1509 kbps)
    audio 3: DTS-HD MA, 5.1 / 48 kHz / 24-bit / 3408 kbps (DTS Core: 5.1 / 48 kHz / 24-bit /1509 kbps)
    audio 4: AC3 Dolby Digital, 3/2 (L,C,R,l,r) LFE ch / 48 kHz / 16-bit / 448 kbps (Dub Ukr)
    audio 5: DTS-HD MA, 5.1 / 48 kHz / 24-bit / 3400 kbps (DTS Core: 5.1 / 48 kHz / 24-bit /1509 kbps) (Original Eng)
    Аудио 6: AC3 Dolby Digital, 3/2 (L,C,R,l,r) LFE ch / 48 kHz / 16-bit / 640 kbps (Descriptive Eng)
I'm have a many movies with this trouble.
    Somebody a have solution ?
  2. What cable is used (connected) between Zidoo and receiver?

ZIDOO connected to TV directly, because reciever don't support 4K, HDR, connected to TV HDMI 2.0 cable, also TV connected to reciever HDMI 2.0 cable through HDMI 2.0 ARC port on TV
  4. I think that problem is in TV - probably doesn't support DTS-HD MA or TrueHD audio passthrough.

No, if I use native LG player or plex client DTS-HD MA and TrueHD - audio passthrough work is fine, reciever it correct played the same movie.

Try to use SPDIF instead of HDMI.
Unfortunately the ARC isn't always working with an older HC receivers :-(
I have HK AVR 460 - similar issues - ARC is not functioning at all via HDMI (TV: Philips 65PUS8102).

I have no doubt that it will work fine via SPDIF, but SPDIF don't support DTS HD MA and Dolby true HD :(
Moreover also i have trouble with commutation, in so far reciever is old and my tv is 4K HDR (with 3 HDMI port), i have to connect my ZIDOO, PS4PRo directly to tv, 3 hdmi port use for connect between TV and reciever via arc, also i have PC. I revealed a clear pattern - once i connect PC to reciever (PC HDMI port) reciever lost a sound from TV ARC, disconnect PC, make search on reciever setting HDMI ARC - sound appears. Looks like I need to change the receiver :(

  8. It is quite expensive, but quickest and maybe the only one solution.

Try connect PC with HDMI CEC less adapter or use a HDMI cable with pin 13 broken.

It triggers me to test HDMI CEC again on Andoid 7.1 as it got slightly better with each OS version.
Normally using Android 6 disabling it in setup should work, but yes I got myself a blocker too.

Wow, interesting solution, this is due to the fact that the receiver cannot correctly identify the PC via the CEC?
Interestingly, the latest generation of receivers (ONKYO) work correctly with the PC input with CEC on?
