how do i put titles for my video collection? Do i include the name & date or just the name of the movie? Example: Ghostbusters or ghostbusters (1984)
Generally just the movie name as listed on TMDB minus any illegal characters. For movies like Ghostbusters where there are two of the same name, I include the year in the newer one - so Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters (2016).

You can change a few of the buttons, but not to HT specific items - these are within HT4 which is an app. However you can set HT to launch on startup from the apps page (press menu on the HT4 icon)
