Timestamp randomly appearing when playing movies

Hello friends,

Very recently, a timestamp appears top right of my screen during movie playback. It disapears after 5 seconds again. The time doesn't match playback progress or actual time.

Anyone know what this is? It only started happening recently.

My player is a NEO X.

Yes, that is the optional clock feature that was added in a recent firmware... You can shut it off in the Quick Settings..

 

Absolutely no idea why you'd want this switched on...

 

Ya know...When I first saw this hourly time option, I immediately turned if off.. but I actually have turned it back on... why? Because, when I am watching movies during the week, it does help remind me to get my ass to bed in a more timely fashion! Lol!

 

My Apple Watch nags me to go to bed. I’m a morning and late night person which they tell me is fatal. Not so good after lunch.

 

I usually just fall asleep halfway through anyway

 

You should try watching your content in LLDV - there's a really smart guy on this forum who can help you... then you'll definitely won't fall asleep...
