This screen should have potentially less problems aging than those OLED front panels of the Neo series. That OLED has more problems and can't be dimmed. Above all the Neo X has a very bright screen. The screensaver isn't really a saver as the clock is not minimized floating.
It won't harm for sure. Personally I would make the Clock/Time just another view and change the screensaver into a low intensity view of whatever view is displayed (brightness configurable down to black). Also to be applied to the Neo models.
