with some video files something happens in kodi what i never had with other media players
even in the android app everything is okai - so only in kodi this happens

sometimes the tv set switches from "widescreen" to "16:9" and back for some times
the it is okai and sometimes it switches again

on tv set i see only "1080p"
as i said - this is only in kodi with x6 player!

    please fix it - thx

    Hi:
which firmware version did you use, in kodi it has setting for auto switch resolution for video, you can into setting==>video==>playback to set it.

    yes kodi setting :)
i only have the problem in kodi!
the way SETTINGS - VIDEO - PLAYBACK is in KODI

i treied in this area "sync playback to display" but this did not change anything!

now i had time to do a little testing here:

the files are running okai on my ellion media player, and three PCs with kodi, even with my tablet with kodi (i installed it extra for this test)

the files are running okai on x6 with the android player

i checked the x6 with kodi on threee different tv-sets, with different hdmi-cables and via LAN and WLAN

the switching is only if x6 with kodi plays them, so every hardware should be not the problem - only kodi

You can change the refresh and have a try again.
