I was wondering if the X10 can take an SSD hard drive and whats the maximum size in terabytes allowed?

    Thanks,

with an adapter from 2.5" to 3.5" you should be ok. i seen tests with 8 TB, probably can do 10

If I could afford myself a 8 TByte SSD then I would buy myself a nice 4K projector instead ;)
But agreed any size should work. The only thing SSD brings is the fact that it is silent, no performance advantages to be expected. A silent 2.5 HDD brings almost the same at a fraction of the costs. Also that one won't run hot with the fan off.
