I can't figure when, but after few days of non-using my Z9X Pro stops to play the content from my Linux server.
That's why I've tried to reboot the player and then I got another problem: HT 5.0 does not "see" the sharings unless I exit the app and use Media Center to login to anyone of the sharings /I have two 12TB and one 16TB Seagate disks/. After successful login everything is fine, but there is 3rd problem .... everytime I should type username and password again.

So, the following problems are seen:
    1) after 2-3 days samba client isn't working in HT 5.0 - even killing the processes in my linux.
    2) HT 5.0 after reboot does not remember the credentials
    3) Media Center also does not remember credentials.

What firmware are you running? There are some issues recently posted for 1.0.95.
Did you change anything in your network, maybe router config or IP?
Delete previous SMB connections credentials and try again.

    The version is 1.0.95.
The player and the Slackware 15.0 64bit are in one network.
Why should delete it? This information should be kept in flash of Zidoo and used in every restart.

Yes, but clean the old data, restart the box and re-enter the credentials again. It may help.
I happened to me once and after several tries and restarts, SMB service resumed normally.

I don't want to do it. It was described on first comment. I ask for a permanent solution, not for almost initial solution :)

Once you connect again, it will be for long unless you make an important change in network or maybe in firmware.

If I don't modify my local network and the problem occurs and this happens by itself, why should I do every time reset, re-enter data and so?
    I simply asked a question.

The problem is the following: I don't remember when the player was version 1.0.86 if I had this problem or not, because I used it more often while I was on vacation. The question now is whether it is a problem with the latest version or not.

I don't know what do you mean with "clean old data", but I've cleared the data of application "Media Center", not "Home Theater 5.0".

At first I was entered an user/password for readonly access and my suspicions are that only one pair of username/password is stored and that could cause the problem of reconnection, but it will take time to happens and I will write here is it ok with simple usage of "Media Center" or should reboot the device and enter the credentials again.

I hope that is the problem i.e. I did it to myself. :)
