Power Supply DC 12V 2A Z10 PRO Power Supply DC 12V 3A Z10 I use my old power supply from my Z10 but use internal ssd Drives
hello I had static electricity with the power supply of the zidoo! It contaminated everything .... Amplifier / TV ........ I opted for a new 3.5a power supply with earth connection. suddenly everything is better I no longer have any static electricity
Using an 4A 12V Earthed power supply is recommended by me for Z10 Pro. That will also allow plug&play HDD's (doing an Eject obviously).
Going cursor left on the Zidoo Media Center menu. A pop-up will ask you to confirm. The drive is then stopped.
Not really any PSU with those dimensions will do just fine. Watch the pin inside size though as 2.1 and 2.5 mm exist.
Yes it should be 2.1 mm as far as I recall. Also stated by Futeko here: https://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=5024.msg33117#new
It will for sure work as it comes with both plugs. 3A will also do for 2x 3.5 inch HDD but may fail hot swapping with both attached. The quality claims may be valid but getting a real Linear PSU instead will do the best job. https://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=4907.0 In pratice tried that too but for a Z9X or Z10 Pro it will be difficult to see/hear any difference. The futeko quote was just meant for the pin size. Still prefer 4A Earthed myself. Both a bunch used onces on Ebay myself including 2.1 to 2.5 pin adapters.
