Power activated

    Hi it would be nice to be able turn the power on from the iPad or iPhone not only be able to turning the power off maybe having it in some kind of standby mode

    That would require WOL which is not supported on this device.

    If I’ve read the descriptions of the forthcoming IR/BT remote control, it uses IR to power the DMP-A6 on and the remaining RC functions are via BT. There are probably quite a few IR repeaters with a WIFi bridge built in that could be used when out out IR line of site.
