Hi and thanks for the firmware...anybody know if this firmware fixes the firmware 2.1.1 problem about restore/flashing? I am stucked at 2.1.1 unable to update or downgrade....
I made two posts about it,

Music player does not work good,a lot of albums are no lyrics,when you view the albums and press right the music player crash and no info on artist.
Still no download for dutch subtitles on home theater.

I hope this one is good. 2.1.30 was the first firmware ever I had to roll back (to 2.1.28) because it gave me a constant framestutter every few seconds (like the old media players that could not handle 23,976 properly). But I'm not the only one that had issues with 2.1.30.

Smooth playback is all I need, don't care about poster wall or music player since I'm using ZDMC.

 

Is the issue fixed, that HDR content played with the HDR-OFF (convert all to SDR) switch will be washed out?

 

If you selected "Display the Clock" in the settings for the LCD display, the FW 2.1.30 always displayed "00:00" during playback, on the device itself.

Furthermore, the FW 2.1.30 lacked the "Repeat One / All" option in the Quick Settings Menu for "Playback". Is the Option back?

I just install v2.1.36 to my X9S. I set all language settings to Turkish (system, subtitles, etc) . However, posterview film details and names all are in English, but subtitle download is in Turkish.
So could you fix that problem?

 

Any other issues outside of Turkish language?

There were multiple issues with the menu reported in v.2.1.30. Can anybody check? I’m still on .28

I have many problems with this firmware.
There is more crosstalk with 3D.
Colorsetting within a srt subtitle no longer working,
i use my own color for movies srt's and it stays at the
color set in subtitlesettings.
More subtitle microflashes.
Still strange chinese letters in internal dutch srt.
I only tested some 3D movies and stopped testing
quickly.
I went back to 21.28 as its the firmware with the
least problems for me.
Zidoo is not able to make subtitles work properly.

 

If the source file is frame packed 3D it shouldn't effect crosstalk. Do you have active or passive glasses system?

I have a active 3D system, i was watching Roque One and in
dark scenes it had very much crosstalk, almost unwatchable.
Of course original iso rip. (Passive 3d or hsbs/htab is a gimmick)
Now back on 21.28 its better. But maybe its a feeling, because
difecult to compare.

 

Damn, the non-HDR playback (HDR to SDR conversation) is still broken, so i have to revert to 2.1.28

I asked about 3D as the media player should not effect crosstalk or ghosting in true MVC frame packing mode. Both HD frames left and right are delivered in single pass at 23.976 fps top to bottom. Processing (fitting) of left and right eye is done by display device. Unless the image goes through some scaling crosstalk is between active glasses and display.

I have Epson projector with active glass on 150” screen and 65” LG 4K OLED TV with passive glasses.

4K OLED TV has much better 3D image specially with high frame interpretation but even from 6’ away from the TV it can’t compare to effect of 150” projector screen . Bright movies look better on projector and dark on the OLED. It has minimum if any crosstalk, infinite blacks and silky smooth immersive image but 150” projector screen of 3D is a WOW
