Fixed ZDCODEC aspect ratio function in kodi (Thanks for Adl and Drew442's feedback)

 

Try to play 1920x816 video file. Aspect ratio is not ok.
It't working only for 1920x1080. or aspect ratio that has 1920x180 or 720p

I have a small problem. If I enable audio pass trough my movies starting to be laggy. Stopping for a moment in every ~5 seconds.
If I turn off pass trought it works like charm. It is with every movie.
The source is my Nas, X1 is connected with Lan.

I had this problem with every video. Didn't try from USB, because I have media server and it works fine on my every media devices at home.
Could be the tv my problem? Or network issue? Is there any program for network diagnosis?

the tvvideo can pass through.you should set pass through by setting==>sound==>enable pass through.And can play the video by EXPLORER.
I want it will have the problem every time.and could you reboot it to see it has the porblem?If it has the problem every time,and we can slove it easier;if not,we must first replicate the problem.

I can confirm that Kodi is still doing video shutters, like in the other versions. I'm using "Enable passthru". It shutters in the same way like in the previous versions, on USB or SAMBA, 720 or 1080, it is the same.
TvdVideo is ok, it playbacks nice, even with audio passthru. Mxplayer is also ok.
I did tried to use kodi with TvdVideo, but it does not lauch it, it will say something about External player but it will not load it
I've lost all the hope to use Kodi on X1

 

@zidoo. It is very easy to replicate it: Just enable Kodi logging, enable audio passthru and look at the playback of every HD movie (720 or 1080). It will skip frames every 1 to 2 seconds.
If you then look at the logs you will notice that is complaining about the sync between audio and video. If you want I can produce the log, together with a record of my TV playback.
The problem is consistent: it is permanent (not random) and it affects all HD movies, no matter if you reboot or not. On static scenes this is not obvious, but if you have a scene with lots of movements, the issues is obvious. I guess it's related to the 24 fps movies, but I'm not 100% sure.

 

Okay. It means that I am not alone with the problem.

 

IPTV Simple Client works well on 1080p 60Hz.
