I was offered this update immediately after booting my device, so I'm wondering why this is a beta version. The app also needs to be updated. I celebrate the option of choosing the streaming services to be shown or hidden.
I like the functionality of being able to select the streaming services I want to be displayed in the menu. However, the selection of streaming services is not remembered when you (remove the app from ipad/iphone memory) restart the app. This means selecting it every time you restart the app. Edited: works ok now. Took some time. Also, the local library has a sign ‘invalid’ next to it. And the connection is not made anymore. I don’t want to remove the library because it might cause me to manually reload the custom artist art. Any other solutions possible?
Actually I've no idea if it's beta or not. Tell me the difference between a beta and non beta firmware for any Zidoo/Eversolo device. For me there is none.
After restarting the app, my settings were still there. Nothing has changed since the moment I made my setup.
AKAIK a beta version is an inofficial test version which is offered to users, always implementing the risk of some unperfect functions to be improved. The official releases are those which are automatically offered by the device. At least, this is my interpretation, but maybe I am wrong.
Cannot confirm. Made my setup in the app, where it does not change. The setup stays the same and gets adapted automatically when using the app with another device. Did you update the app in your device?
Looks ok now. Dit not change anything, but now the selected streaming services stay as selected. Even when closing app and removing from memory. Maybe needed some time.
Good news and bad news on the SPDIF digital volume control front. I now get a smooth full range of control without any sudden jumps, but the implementation still needs work as there is a constant hiss that gets worse at low volumes. @mirror The digital volume control needs to be implemented properly (using dithering, floating point maths, or high bit depths) so that it doesn't decimate the signal.
It came out as official on mine, I just clicked on upgrade and it popped ip. I'm not signed up for beta. Has anyone updated to this? My optical in now has no sound ?
I’m the same…not set up to accept beta updates and it came through for me this morning. No problems with it…yet.
Added a show/hide setting for music services. In next update you can add same also to the rest services: Music Music services Music cloud driver Music connect this will be great to use only what you have.
Got it offered this morning as an upgrade to 1.03.23. And it seems that THIS was fixed indeed! Optimized the issue with incorrect sorting in the file manager when adding devices to the music library. Tried to play a movie soundtrack on 2 CDs sorting tracks as 1-10, 1-11, 1-01, 1-12, 1-02, 1-13, 1-03 etc on screen. But when starting 1-01, it followed properly with 1-02 instead of 1-12 previously. The tracks both use N-xx naming and Total CD#/CD# tags for proper sorting. It then went to play "1-03 Track 3" after #2, showing "Track 3" on iOS App screen -- probably from the tags. On a reload it changed to "1-03 Track #3" -- probably from the filename -- some maybe still some inconsistencies there to fix later.
The problem of account launch has been solved, and Apple Music can also be used independently without entering the interactive interface. But my tidal collection is gone, and even logging out multiple times didn’t solve the problem.
Not sure if this is due to this update, but since a week, I cannot use the combination of "internal player" as IN and analog OUT (any). It does work witth USB in or BT in and analog out though... Super strange. Also, it always wrote PCM 768KHz as PCM rate no matter what the incoming data rate is (Most of my files are 44.1Khz, and they are displeyd as such when streamed from eversolo internal player to digital out...). You can see in the pictures before and after
I have occasional audio interruptions on Spotify Connect edit: With the update of the Spotify app (8.9.82) the problem no longer occurred
