Multichannel in music player

Hello everyone,

I have a question about the music player.
I have various sacd as iso. the info says that they have a 2 channel as well as a 6 channel signal.
But I can only get the stereo signal.
Is there a way to select the tracks like in the HT?
In HT I can play all formats. So also multi-channel formats, etc.

What about just pressing the Audio key on your remote control? It then flips between 2CH and MCH.

 

Thx, is this from a Z9x? I have the R81 clone, which does not have this setting.

Hi, that was it! The audio switch works.
I am using a Logitech remote, so I don’t usually have the original remote in my hand. That’s why I didn’t try this option by myself.

I have many multichannel .flac files. Will my Z1000Pro be able to play them without converting to 2-ch? I have a Roon Nucleus and it plays these multi-ch flac files no problem.

 

MCH audio is supported including FLAC. If it works with ROON?
