I actually purchased 2 of these devices and they both share a common problem. They both lose sound. I can not put my finger on the sequence of events that causes this behaviour. A restart of the device fails to resolve the problem. However it is an easy fix. Simply open the recorder app to switch to viewing HDMI input. That is obviously not an intuitive a fix. Simply posting to see if there are others with this issue? Not a complaint really about the device. It is my favorite android Device to date.
I appreciate the reply but I can't accept that as a solution. It's no better than my option to open the HDMI in feed. Still not complaining. Zidoo is a great product!!!!
It also happening to me when trying to listen to music a few times... Im not sure if my amps playing up or its the zidoo , a reboot of both the amp or zidoo dont fix. What i do to fix , is to unplug the HDMI out lead and then as soon as I plug it back in i get sound.. So maybe a HDMI issue somewhere ??
