Hi all - Over the past month I've ditched an old broken media player (non-Zidoo) and have retreived it's old internal drive, for use with my Z1000 Pro. I've attached it via USB and moved my Photo Collection to it. I must say that viewing via the already installed Image Viewer App is very good indeed, especially on my new OLED TV However I store my Photos in folders designated: 1. where they were taken and 2. when - month and year ie; "Mauritius - February 2023". When I scrape the main folder, all the photos scrape ok but their containing folders do not show - they are all stored together. There are simply far too many sub folders to scrape folder by folder. Unless I'm missing something therefore, I am looking for a better Image / Photo & Video Viewer App that can view folder by folder and hopefully in the form of a Slideshow, with music. Can anyone recommend a suitable App please? Thanks
No I haven't - sorry. I've had to contend with a lot since my above post 2 years ago and my time hasn't been with this. However I'd also like to know if there are any better apps vailable rather than the stock image viewer as I will be coming back to my photography collection at some point this year. Anyone ?
I don't think I've ever looked at the photo app but just tried it and it displays by folders - maybe it didn't used to, I don't know, but it certainly does now... Also there's a slideshow with animation and music...
Yes. No zoom and it does not sort the photos by date taken (very important for me), but in the end it is the best.
What drives me crazy is that when I sort the photos by date they are arranged correctly (photo), but then when I view them or start the slide show, NO. I think they are sorted by name or something else. Is there a way to solve this? Make a request somewhere for an update? Thanks
@Markswift2003 I agree here completely with @Zidoo X9S - sorting your photos has to be must for any photographer. Could you please request the Devs to add this "Option" please? Thanks
