Lag and reboots with Zidoo Z9x and Samsung QVO 870 8tb SSDs

I own 3 Zidoo Z9x .
Until last year I had no issue when connecting my external Lacie 5TB HDDs... Fast and no bug.
Since this year, I moved all my content on Samsung QVO 870 8TB SSDs.
I've tried SATA and usb-3 connections but I have many issues.
The lag in recognizing the drives is about 5-10minutes.
When scanning the content to get the "posters", it freezes, reboots,, sometimes it works but it takes about one hour.
Any idea about where the problem lies?

 

are these housed inside an enclosure to have a USB connection? How are you making the SATA connection?
Perhaps it is a power thing for these new drives and a powered hub or powered enclosure is worth a try?

 

Counter intuitively, SSDs require more power than standard HDDs, sometimes significantly more, so yes, this is probably a power issue.

 

I use a adaptator /cable that links Sata to usb
I could try to use sata/usb case... that might be a good idea...
