Issue (micro-pause or freeze) with NAS

    Hello,
    I meet freeze or micro-pause, randomly, as soon as I read a file on one of my 3 NAS with the Z9S.
    If I use my old Dune base 3 with the same files, I have no problem. An idea ?

    Share : SMB V3 + Cat 7
    Firmware : 2.3.10

    Does it happen just at the start of playing and what NAS is it?

    this happens randomly during playback but never at startup.

    Nas : Syno and Ve-Hotech.

    Right - I was going to say that with some NAS drives, when they spin down to sleep, they cache previously started material so there can be a momentary freeze when cache moves to live data as the drive wakes up, but if you're getting this randomly during playback that's not the cause here.

    I have been using the nas for 8 years with a Dune and I have never had this problem. It is only with the zidoo that I encounter this problem.
