What is the streaming protocol you use ?
NFS is better than SMB in terms of speed and latency.

A little question: is there any free or open source NFS server for Windows?

Thanks, but is not what I've asked.
I'm looking for a NFS server to install on a Windows 10 PC.
    Question still open.

Thanks, gaki, already known by me, but unluckily is Shareware.

Now I've a new idea, to be investigated: Windows 10, in "Developer mode" have a fuctionality called “Windows Subsystem for Linux (Beta)” , that could/should be able to run a NFS server perfectly integrated with Windows OS.
When I've some spare time I'll do some test. Best if someone other do the same!
