Is Zidoo just dead or doesn't really care

Hi

Have my UHD3000 for allmost 2 years now, in the beginning was a top machine, coming from a Nvidia Shield 2017.

However the subtitles part doesn't work anymore, everyone seems to blame Opensubitles, but other players have updated their firmwares and it just works. Even in Zidoo i don't have the option to enter a username / password.

Have Apple TV with Infuse, which works great but lacking the height levels for Atmos..

Don't see any firmwares coming in, has this UHD3000 now become an expensive paperweight? Have updated to the latest beta.

Any alternative brands or solution?

 

Specifically what is the firmware number you have updated to?

 

Hi, i've upgraded to v6.4.62 via usb. Think this was the latest.

 

Found 6.4.65 - and seems to fix the subtitles download now.. I'm happy again . Hope it didn't break other things...

 

Using Z9X with the 65G release, subtitles download fails...
