    Good evening,

I want to copy movies from my iMac to an external hard drive connected to SATA on the X9S, network ethernet.

When I try to copy I have an error message:
Failed to copy at least one file. View the newspaper
For more information on this message.
    The transaction was canceled

Is it possible to copy movies on HDD in SATA ?

    Thanks you.

    Hello,

I succeeded in SAMBA but the file transfer is very long, 9Go announced for about 3 hours.
I have not tried in FTP, what is the procedure between an iMac and the X9S?

In SMB I have two errors:
    1- TimeOut Login
    2- FILE SHARING NOT AVAILABLE

I do not understand why I can not access my iMac from X9S to SMB?

Thanks a lot for your help.
Sorry for my english, i'm french ;-)

Ok, i'll try to found a soft FTP for Mac OS to do the same think.

    For the SAMBA fix,
Do I have to replace the SAMBA lines of the link?
There are many lines that are not the same as the X9S

    Thanks.

I replaced the SAMBA lines to have the FIX, it has nothing changed, the transfer is very long.

I will go to the FTP side

probably the limitation is frou your mac ? even on a 100 MB line you should be able to transfer 9 gb in 22 minutes

why create the FTP server on the mac ? if the HDD its attached to the x9s. then use openwrt to crete the server and share the HDD. and connect to it from mac using a ftp client

I use cyberduck (idem WINSCP on windows), the software comes to see the hard drive (all movies) on the X9S but I can not access my imac with cyberduck (FTP software)
