3.5" can installed easily because zidoox10 has a slot of 3.5" hdd but how i can insert and fixed 2.5" in internal slot? Plus is it necessary to make partitions?
    Thanks.

    1) There are converters (look physically like a 3.5 hdd) for 2.5 inch drives which can be inserted next into 3.5 slots (some work with easy loading without using screws). Once inserted you can use it like a 3.5 inch HDD anywhere using any mounting. Bought a pair of those myself. Got an aluminium one (IB2535 series) from ICY Box for good cooling.

    2) One should use a single partition GPT/NTFS always.

I like 2.5 inch HDD's as these are very silent and use less power than any equivalent capacity 3.5 inch. At 4 Tbyte it will be somewhat more expensive but no way near SSD prices achieving almost the same goals (read speed is not a relevant factor here).

Thinking of getting this one Seagate Expansion 2TB USB 3.0 2.5", i guess it's 2.5" after removing expansion bay. Is there any way to attach 2.5" without using 3.5 convertor?

Only if you have an X9S with an external SATA connector. USB3 works without needing an external PSU for 2.5 inch which is a neater solution in my view.
Kabel is Dutch for cable. The combo SATA cable for power and signals needs to be purchased as X9S is shipped without one. Got mine with other players I have but they are to be found on the web too (forget about regular shops).

Removing a HDD from the enclosure is not always that easy as the click system is hidden but it can be done. Do this regularly as USB3 drives are often cheaper than the HDD residing in it by itself.
