You can notice some differences as IMDB is users rating and it changes frequently before Zidoo reflects it in posterwall.

Yeah well, for long standing movies like The Godfather the ratings stands fixed for years.

Still Zidoo does not show the correct IMDB rating.

It shows IMDB rating 8.7 in my case.

This is after updating the IMDB ratings.

    How is this possible?

Should it matter wether it is the 1080p version or the 2160p version.....

No, the file format makes no difference.

The scraper calls the IMDB API so if yours says 8.7, that's what the IMDB was showing at that time.

I will refresh the metadata today.....wich should mean it would have to show 9.2 today....correct?

Then please explain this.....the rating of this movie has not changed in years.....and this is the rating Zidoo has been showing for weeks now after many times of updating the IMDB ratings.

I have deleted all scraping information and rescraped the hard drive......makes no difference.

Ok, I'm halfway to figuring this out.

8.7 is the TMDB score, but your screenshot shows IMDB - can you confirm that you have IMDB set under "Display Rating" in Settings/Preferences?

I fired up another Z9X Pro and added The Godfather without enabling IMDB ratings. This of course shows the TMDB rating:

I then switched to IMDB, the database updated, and now I have the IMDB rating:
    upload_2024-10-8_17-31-5.png

I then did a full database reset, set IMDB ratings BEFORE scraping and again, got the correct rating.

So somewhere along the line I can only think your database got corrupt. Not a clue why.

I have display IMDB ratings under preferences.

    How to reset the database?

Should a factory reset and then rescraping do the trick?

No need for a factory reset, just HT:

    HT5/Settings/Library/Clear Data > Clear

As far as I can see now this fixed the problem.

    Thanks.

What does action do? It deletes all scraping? And sources must be re-scraped?

Yes, it completely resets HT5, deleting the database and returning all settings to default.

So after a few days the same issues reappears.

All ratings shown are those of TMDB instead of IMDB.
