    Hi all.
    Is there a way to update movie info after changing the .nfo of that movie?
    If I long press on a movie I get the option to "Refresh metadata". But it doesn't use the info from the .nfo file.
    So how can I make HT5 refresh the data from the .nfo file of one specific movie without recanning the whole library?

    The movie has to be imported via nfo file and not by online source. Also the firmware has to be the latest. In such case you can refresh with the long press.

    You can see wether it is imported via nfo or online in details view under the movie cover.

    Hi badboyxx,
    thanx for your answer.

    Could you tell me the exact steps how to refresh?
    In the details view it says Information from NFO. Back in the Posterwall area I select the movie, long press the OK button. Then the different options appear and I choose "refresh metadata".
    But nothing changes. For testing, I just changed the title of the movie, but it always stays the same after this procedure.
    I am on firmware 1.0.95.
    What am I doing wrong?

    As @badboyxx says, the file needs to have been scraped by NFO originally.

    If it was originally scraped online, Metadata Refresh will use online source
    If it was originally scraped from an NFO, Metadata Refresh will use the NFO.

    Unfortunately there is a bug in this version (v4.3.03) which was addressed in the latest HT5 on the 8X (v4.3.16) where the NFO can only be changed once - if you change it more than once, you need to restart the box and press Metadata Refresh for the setting to take effect.

    @badboyxx @Markswift2003
    Thanx very much for your help. I wasn't aware of the bug. After restarting the device I could refresh the data.
