I tried to take both a photo and a video but the problem cannot be seen. To explain, it's like when there is a hot surface and you see the heat halo on it.
You can't upload videos direct to the forum but you can use something like mega.nz (it's free) and post a link.

Sorry - I must be missing something - I can't see what you mean. Just to check, this is the X9S right? I'm only asking because it's such an old box.
Yes. X9S[/QUOTE] Ok, just wanted to check. But as I say, unfortunately from that video I can't see what the issue is. Have you got any motion settings switched on in the LG? I think it's called Trumotion in LGs. If so, that should definitely be turned off.
I don't know how to explain, you know when a surface is hot, like asphalt in summer, and you see it a little blurry above? This happens in fast scenes around people, maybe it's the X9S that doesn't handle hdr correctly?

You're not talking about mosquito noise are you? https://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia/...appears near,by inverting the transform model.
Ok, so mosquito noise has nothing to do with HDR or the box, it's simply a by product of poor encoding in the file.
