Getting a error popup "activation information"

it needs to show "up__" when you start a reflash. make sure you are doing the steps right for the reflash.

 

I've tried every way. Pressed the button then plugged the cable. Nothing. Pressed the button the turn on the switch nothing. Do all at the same time nothing. Do both then keep holding the reset button nothing. And on and on

 

can't say what are you doing wrong . the steps are easy. try another USB drive. make sure its fat32 formated, plug in USB 2.0 . hold reset then power up the device

 

Just noticed that up does come up at first for a few seconds then it switched to hello

 

whats the name of the file on the USB drive ?

 

It's the image for the 1.2.7 furmware

 

1: pulg usb storage into the usb2.0 port
2: ress the button and hold on
3: power on the device
4: wait the vfd display the "up_ _", then release the button.
5: wait it finish.

You have to be on 1.2.3 first install that.

If VFD display show "UP__" and stack to "HELLO" check if id rename it install-X9S-usb-v1.2.7.img to install.img.
