Getting a error popup "activation information"

I did the 1.2.4 update a few days ago with no problem. I had my zidoo x9 off for the last two days as I was watching dvd's on my blu ray player and the share the same connection to the tv. today I hooked it back to the tv and turned it on. I am getting a popup that says.

Model: ZIDOO_X9S
NET MAC: null
UUID:
State: Illegal authorized
Also the wifi is not working, not finding any signals. but all my other devices find the wifi router.

I downloaded and reinstalled the 1.2.3 update that came with my unit, still getting the error. I have a feeling this may be a hardware problem.

Not true and that doesn't work. Mine did it and I never deleted any files. Also I updated it to the latest firmware and it still does it

Attention please:
1: the image file is install.img
2: fat32 USB storage
3: don't plug the power before it complie the upgrade.

 

Been trying it all night. When I press the reset then plug the power in it just gets stuck with a boot logo. Doesn't change. Tried multiple times and same results

 

can you see the "up_ _" on the vfd?

 

Dint know what that is

 

^ The box has a clock on it that also displays some text. like " boot", "up__" " HEIIO" etc.
