Hi everyone, I guess i need your help again. Owner of a zidoo 5000, for a few days i got a problem with the image fluidity. With almost every movie, remux UHD 4k or simple 4k file, it's like it's filmed/shooted in DV like a live show ; not a 24p cinema movie. Awful. I already had this problem but with advises form some of you i made this problem disapeared : i selected the 'match the frame rate", and the lock resolution and i chose 4k 23Hz. It was perfect for months and now it's back at the begining despite these options selected. I tried to put back the old firmware (cause i was thinking it was the fault of the last firmware and the upgrade), but the problem is still here. What i don't understand is for instance this : with the remux 4k of halloween 1978, it 's like a DV show, very fluid ; despite the fact that movie is quite old, it's too fluid, and too artificial. It' the same with many recent movie like Hit man, or the lat guy Ritchie, etc. It was the same with John Wick 2 4k remux ; awful again. But with the remux 4k of mission impossible 2, it's normal. 23/24p fluidity. Maybe with some others movies but i didn't test. For a lot of movies which don't work, i tested them with my tv as the reader of the file (by example : the retirement plan, and another one) : with my tv it's like a cinema movie. So i know the problem is the zidoo ; i m pretty sure of that. I'm lost. Do you have the same kind of issue ? Any ideas ? Could you help me ? Can you remind me the options you selected for your driver ? Thanks a lot !!
Yes i must check about that ; but i don't realy understand cause i didn't change anything from the moment it was working and the moment it doesn't ! It's a panasonic 65 MZ2000E. iF you got the same tv, i m interested bu yours idea guys Anyway, thanks for your answer !
Hey, If it can help someone in the same case ... I seem to have found the problem with my pana BR driver. There's an option somewhere called in french "progressif" (progressive probably in english) : there's three possibility : auto, video and film Auto was selected. I chose Films and it seems these problems of extreme fluidity and even artefact of image with some travelling or quick movement of camera disapeared I made an essay with Alien 01 from Scott. At the begining again with most of the movie everything was like " a tv show/digital video" ; but after the change i saw finally a true cinema picture/render. I made a few try with original blu ray disk 4k John Wick 1 and 2 and i had the same issue ; too much fluidity. I didn't try after the change in the option .. but i m sure it would change everything. Anyway i will try later today with Halloween ; if it works with this movie it 's clear i found the problem with this driver. But i must find the problem with my zidoo.. let's see that later.
