Hi Guys, has any of you succeeded using an external player on this device? I've installed MX Player free and then placed a new playercorefactory.xml file in the userdata folder. The x9s recognizes the external player (set as default player) and also other players included in my new playercorefactory.xml file. I can see them all under Options "Play with". However, it will not play any files with this external player. Am I missing something?
Thank you HaoSs, Saw the tutorial. It installs the external player on a new instance of original Kodi. Does that mean that installing an external player on the Zidoo's Kodi (ZDMC) will not work? Does the X9s support other external players at all ?
can't tell you for sure. As i don't run wrapper/external player. i'm fine with kodi;s player. you will have to try and see. i think it should work tho. Depends on what support you are talking about. x9s runs with android. If you can install it in android. should work. If you want hardware decoding and autoframe switch. that's something different, just intall and try its not hard
