Returned home after 3 weeks and was greeted with an update notification on the face of my DMP -6A Master Edition. I followed the steps and got the "upgrade completed" message.

    I now have no sound.

    Background/set-up:

Eversolo: HDMI connection to J-Tech Audio Extractor. HDMI out to Onkyo Receiver. Optical in from home router. HDMI in from Eversolo

HP Laptop running Win11 hosting external HD housing high-def audio files. JRiver Media Center 33 used to manage massive music library

HP connects to Eversolo through wireless home network.

    What I've done:

    Re-set Eversolo for factory settings

    Updated JRiver

    Re-booted laptop many times

    Replaced J-Tech Audio Extractor

Onkyo receiver (TX-NR787) runs televsion surround sound through same pre-amp, subwoofer and speakers that the Eversolo USED to deliver sound through

Downloaded (or is that uploaded?) several music files to Eversolo. Eversolo mini-equalizer shows action so the files are being played

Selected Streaming option on Eversolo and selected songs. Again, mini-equalizer shows action.

NO ONE was in our home and the therefore the system was not used during those 3 weeks.

    HELP...please.

What does EDID report? Does Analog neither work?

As silly as it might seem, check the volume, as it is preset to 0, and is remembered.

I’ve had this happen before . Turn off the unit completely and turn back on.

Not surprised. Been waiting for them to correct USB recognition of McIntosh DAC for 4 months.
