Hi, I'm not able to configure and see on AIMP (W10) through DLNA my Z9X. There's a DLNA plugins on AIMP which I've installed and I can see PC, Denon amp, etc, even Foobar when I use it!, but not the Zidoo. Can someone help me on this? Regards
UPnP and DLNA are two different standards. They won't always interwork. Even DLNA itself has dialects and won't always interwork. Zidoo should be capable to extend DLNA compatibility? DLNA is derived from UPnP, as an attempt to normalize media interoperability. It does this partly by being more restrictive than UPnP (e.g. by restricting the number of media formats) and partly by adding features (like DRM, i.e. copy protection).
Thank you for this explanation. I know nothing about this. For now, I am just using the HDMI IN and AIMP works fine.
