Can someone please give me a link to dated ROM for Z9X? Something below to 6.30.60? Only link on Zidoo Official site I found has higher ROM - 6.30.90 I need something below then this, Can someone lease help?
Thanks a ton buddy, I remember I did download a file from same site, but when I was using reset/Flash option using USB stick, device did not detect this file. I even changed the file name to Install.img but still it did not work. may be Iam doing wrong. Can you help me how do I downgrade to old stock ? File I downloaded from this site was detected immediately --- > ( unable to post a link from Zidoo support guide on how to flash )
Thanks buddy, I think its the same recovery file provided by Zidoo official page, post this installation When I tried to force update 6.30.60 version device refused to accept it. Is it possible to get older recovery image? I really really need this file. The reason is stupid, out of the box this device and HDMI In actually outputting audio to my soundbar, I was getting DYS :X and Atmos flawlessly. That's why I wanna go back to birth of this device.

Thanks a ton Buddy, Correct me if I am doing it wrong, 1-I downloaded both files and put them together in a USB Fat32 drive, 2- I plugged USB Drive into 3.0 Port of Z9X, 3- I pressed Reset button with pin and at the same time I powered on Device. Still I only see a frozen logo Zidoo and nothing moves from here. Am I making any mistake here? In previous attempt ai changed large file name to Install.img still device did not detect it. What is correct method? I am sorry for bothering you again n again
Zidoo Z9X, Z9S, X9S Emergency Flash Procedure ======================================== 1. Copy file to empty FAT32 USB stick. Do NOT unzip it 2. Rename file to "install.img" 3. Turn off player using switch on back 4. Plug USB into USB 3.0 Port (a blue one) 5. Press and hold reset button on back (X9S) or left (Z9S, Z9X) with something pointy while applying power 6. Wait for on screen confirmation before releasing reset button. **Do not turn off during this procedure**
Followed excatly but Didn't work! Stuck on "Zidoo" Logo after boot! Not sure whether file is wrong or my usb! Can you please give me dated recovery flash file ? I downloaded recovery file from above given link by McBluna .
Use the sha256 file to verify the file integrity. Please post images like mine of Windows Explorer with plugged in USB stick
Attached 3 screenshot for your reference, I tried , Single large file in USB , didn't work. I tried both file with name change and unchanged, didn't work either. Is my file verify method correct ? I dragged both files in PowerShell windows.
checked and renamed properly , still screen stuck on Zidoo Logo, McBluna My humble Thanks to you for replying to my each message and providing me help. But Dont know why its not working from my end! The file which I had downloaded from Zidoo official was above 1.2 GB and file you shared with me is 700 MB. Could there be any extra things in recovery file? Can you try yourself whether file is correct? Changing USB drive I doubt will make any difference, last thing I can do is re-download file again. Thanks a ton again !!
had the same issue, changing port solve the problem. However the 2 roms don't work anymore on the Z9X, screen is black after each completed installation. Works fine with v6.4.42 and v6.3.92 Don't except 3D MVC with theses version however If anyone happen to have a recovery image before v6.1.05 I'll take it
