This is how it actually works now using the Local Player: Be aware this works per Title/Track! So replacing covers you may end up with a different one per title. - There is an absolute preference for covers in the Album folder When found it will be cached in the database library and become the new top preference! - Only if not present a TAG embedded cover will be shown - A second play will use the cached preference So you play a title and see the wrong cover is used in the folder. You remove the offending cover and replace it with a good one. Haha that won't work as it comes from the library cache now. You need to reset all covers for all albums to get a a clean restart. Not the most logical method in my poor vision. Was already reported more than a year ago for Zidoo MP and never was changed. The reason most likely is Eversolo wants to fill and use the database library for display features to work.
For speed purposes also... many players do so; many also rescale the original picture to, say, 640 x 640, and cache and use that. The cache has its meaning...
