Are 192/24 FLAC files NOT playable on the ZX9?

I tried playing some 192/24 audio files in FLAC format through Roon but got no audio. When I changed the setting to NOT play in native format, they played fine. Is it possible to play these audio files in native format?

Should play just fine. Do it all the time but not using ROON.

Interesting. I was playing with it quite a bit yesterday and that (changing from native output) was the only way I could get sound (albeit downsampled). I'll move a few of the same files into a folder and try the media player.

working in my setup with Roon, to what is the Zidoo connected to? AVR, DAC.......my DAC shows my the input from the Zidoo which delivers 192k/24 for such files without converting them, Roon Server has a function so also check the path to the Zidoo in Roon App as well.

I'm running directly out of the Zidoo SPDIF into a Meridian 861. But after some research, it seems it's an issue with the Meridian and 192/24 NOT the Zidoo. It's not like I have a ton of 192/24 music anyways so no big deal.

Meridian seems to support 96k only

Being a Meridian owner...I should have known that:)

I changed the output on Roon to 92k. Thanks Armin!
