I have a list of 480 FLAC files on a fast SSD, which in mounted in the bottom of my A6 Master Edition. When I open the playlist (the relevant folder on SSD has status "scanned"), the first ~100 Tracks are available within 2 to 3 seconds (good). When I click on one of them, it starts to play fast. But the problems start when I scroll down to tracks "later" in the list, e. g. to track #400 of 480. Every ~100 tracks the list freezes for up to 12 seconds, apparently "loading" (?) the next 100. It's a pain to scroll through the list. If I then, after listening to track #400, scroll back to e. g. track #20, the scrolling works faster. But it won't play track #20 immediately then when I click it. Once. Twice. More times... Again 10 seconds and more will pass until track #20 will start to play after the long scrolling. Guess what happens if I then try to scroll to track #450 It's an issue of the app (no issues with may LAN, happens in both LAN or WLAN). Scrolling in the list on the touchscreen of the device instead isn't exactly warp speed - but it's way faster (3 sec. delay max. instead of 10sec and more). So it's clearly the app. How is it possible that a device which is available for more than 2 years now still has such a disturbing, major bug in its app? Thank you for any answer / advice. Android App, latest version Player is on latest firmwire version Happens on both Samsung S23 smartphone and Samsung A9 tab. Strong WLAN signal, no interference from other WLAN or radio devices (I am an IT guy). No improvement if I put the A6 on LAN cable. Best regards Thomas from Germany
Sorry, I need your help again. Where do I turn this off, I cannot find this setting. In MUSIC app > settings button there is a menu called SCAN. It has a topic "Automatic updating sources", is that it? But it is set to "off" already. Otherwise I do not know where else to look for this Autoscanning on/off option. Thank you Thomas
Thank you, Remik. Seems that the topic is named a little bit differently in English, but then it must be this one (see picture attached). But it is and always was set to "off" already. So this is not the reason for the delays. Thank you anyway for your helpfulness
