I have matching issues on a few things I'm trying to figure out. First off, I'm just using BDMV for the most part. I want the menus for most stuff and I'm not setup for ISO's at this time. I have two movies, The Batman and Interstellar, that I made back up of both the main 4K disk and the bonus disk. Z9X Pro didn't recognize the bonus disk (though I'm sure it did for other movies). I tried to re-match and chose the same movie poster as the main movie. Now when I click on the movie I only see the main movie and no second disk option. The other issue I have is with a TV show. I made BDMV for 3 disks. I tried to re-match them and choose the correct poster but it says this season already exists. I think I may have messed something up the first time and maybe I need to clear out something. I don't know. The show is called "The Master" (old Ninja TV show). I may just look at converting to MKV but would like to know if there's a way to fix this first. I would be OK doing this one as MKV's because it's a TV show and the extras are just trailers for other Lee Van Cleef and Sho Kosugi movies. I will be doing Lord of the Rings Trilogy soon and since that has two disks per movie plus bonus disks I want to make sure I know how to make this work correctly.
This is an old thread, so I was wondering if there had been a solution provided. I have the similar question on bonus disks. I also have boxes with BluRay version and DVD version of same movie. I tries to match both to same IMDB id. On the movie page in HT, I now see 2 paths (one to the iso BD file, one, the DVD folder), but I don't see a way to select any of the disks for play back. What would be best practice here?
With bonus discs name you can use: MovieName.(1#Main Movie) MovieName.(2#Bonus Disc) With BluRay/DVD version: MovieName,(1#BluRay) MovieName.(2#DVD) You name folders in the case of BDMV or the files in the case of ISO/MKV etc. Details in the HT naming PDF in the first post here: https://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?th...r-useful-stuff-for-rtd-1619bpd-players.95967/
Thanks a lot for quick answer @Markswift2003 . Because I also have MyMovies pointing by movies database to my files, I would love a solution which doesn't require me to change files names or paths. Is there a way to map those correctly using the web interface of HT from my computer? If not, I will go the naming route, but will be quite some work on my side. Thanks again
No - if you want custom labels in the selection box in the details page then you have to name as above. If you leave as is, ie just MovieName, then, each version is just put into boxes labelled A, B, C etc.
@Markswift2003 , I am not able to find the PDF about HT naming in the first post you linked above. Going through the links, I find a pdf about HT user guide, but details about file naming doesn't explain what you shared about bonus disks and the ".(1#....)" approach for files and folders names. Is there anything else I missed, like another pdf document? Thanks in advance
