For example, my 8-year old TVIX 6500 player with Sigma chipset is able to zoom in and out in steps. - Does the VFD Display support alphabetic characters and symbols? Is it planned for future firmwares? I'd like to see file names on the display, like my old TVIX player. Thay way you can use the player as an audio player without TV. - Is the user interface translated to spanish? If not, are there plans to do it? Also remaining time counter is important. I receive it today and it have the same bug as X9S, i can't format a sdcard as internal storage. I think it's the same firmware as X9S. I put in a 2T HDD and it'snt make a noise only hear HDD.
X10 is almost identical to the X9-S..will continue to have same firmware issues as the X9-s..don't get burned 2X...don't get fooled again by the "new" hype..
It is the same as the x9s, seen some pictures on internet, not sure if all are the same, but the one i seen had written on the board " x9s v1.2 ", only the case is different. and the front panel

Hi, just before I consider buying one can anyone let me know a couple of things? 1) I think it has a picture-in-picture mode. Is that one 4K-input in an App? Or one HD-input in an App? Or one App in another App? Or one movie file in another App? 2) I have read it plays Bluray files. I guess this is only if they are on a USB HD. I have an external USB bluray drive. It doesn't connect to the X6 Pro. Will the X10 connect it and play Blu-ray discs? If not, is the SATA hard drive bay compatible with Blu-ray drives? 3) how noisy is the fan? Thanks, eerke
The Zidoo X10 came to me on Friday, the hardware feels solid, but unfortunately the firmware does not. @ma_ko What's your mother language which you set in box please. And when you said subtitles can't be found online, did you mean zidoo player or ZDMC? And please try to avoid using acronym, such as "np", people here are all from different cultures,we'd better use simple and clear words to express.
My language is Polish. Yes, it is not possible to set the language in the Zidoo player. ZDMC I do not use, it works very slowly, in addition I can not configure it under my hard drive. (I wrote mins about the Exodus plugin problems with saving, backup, etc) But I have no problems with the configuration of Kodi 17. This is all OK (so shortly checked) Approx. I accidentally interrupted my "example" (np) I would try to write without errors.
Exodus is a pirate addon, There will be no official support for it, from kodi or from anywhere for that matter. That being said, your problem is with writing permissions, that can be fixed multiple ways. I'm using the root + xposed framework + sdcard addon that gives writing permission on external devices. ( this is a workaround, not a official fix ), guide can be found on the russian 4pda forum if you are willing to dig a little
Hello , I own a zidoo x10 for a couple days, and I have noticed a problem, I have set hdmi output in auto mode and when playing a 4k hdr video (the lg chess demo) the zidoo is seting the resolution in 1080 p instead of 4k, and then the image is all pink !! If I set the hdmi output manually in 4k the the videao is playing fine. m'I missing something in the setting ? Thanks for your help.
Spirit? I have test with Bluray movies, it have the menu navigation but so slow to open it. I'm using Egreat A5 and it's faster to open Bluray navigation than X10. Can not control speed of FAN. When will you release new firmware for X10, I see the current version is 1.3
My tv is an hisense 55m7000 hdmi 2.0a and hdr, and I have a marantz sr 7010 hdmi2.0a. The résolution is not set by the tv but by the media itself ? Another thing, Is there a way to make visible the X10 with a NetBIOS name on the network. Because I can access to it via the ip Adress, but it would be more convinient with a NetBIOS name.

The fan does not seem to support speed control it is just on/off. Maybe auto/smart/hdd "=following the detection of a HDD being inserted/ejected" can be added?

Hello, trying to fix the wrong auto resolution, I ve made some more testing, it's seem that the only way I can have both 1080 p and 2160p working without either a pink screen or some cut in the video and sound, is to set the resolution to 3840 60 hz and the color mode to rgb 444. If I let the color mode in auto the hdr demo are pink, and if i let the resolution on auto the 4k demo are played in 1080p. What is the difference between the rgb 4.2.2 and 4.4.4 ? Thanks to all the person that have anwsered me. This box seems very promissing. ANother question is there a setting to set the subtitle to off by default ?
