I just set up a new Z2000 Pro and it’s making a high-pitched noise (like a whine or a ground loop noise?) when I boot it up. It's connected to my AVR and the sound also comes through the speakers. I have tried using different HDMI cables, turning the fan off, plugging it into 3 different outlets, etc. The device seems to work fine otherwise. I’m not sure what else to try. Any suggestions?
RMA it. It's not normal that sound distortion comes also via HDMI to the speakers. Some electronic parts inside are not keeping the designed specification.
Thank you both for your suggestions. Ordered a replacement. I hope I just got a bad unit and that it’s not a widespread, device-specific issue.
